Dr. Nissar Shaikh (MD, EDIC, DID, FCCM)
Dr. Nissar is a Senior Consultant and SICU Fellowship Director at Hamad medical corporation Doha-Qatar, assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College in Doha-Qatar, and Associate Professor at the College of Medicine Qatar University.
Dr. Nissar has numerous oral and poster presentations in national and international conferences. He has around 150 peer-reviewed publications, three medical critical care books, and 30 medical book chapters.
He is the founding faculty and first associate director of the Hamad Medical Corporation and Qatar surgical fellowship.
Dr. Nissar has won three prestigious Stars of Excellent awards for distinguished services. He is awarded FCCM in recognition of his work in critical care.
