Dr. Mashari Alnuaimi,
Head of Radiation Physics Department in Kuwait Cancer Control Centre, Kuwait
Dr. Mashari Alnuaimi is the founder and president of Kuwait Association of Medical Physics (KAMP), President of Middle East Federation of Medical Physics (MEFOMP) and Head of Radiation Physics Department in Kuwait Cancer Control Center.
Of the enormous responsibility, he has enjoyed a long and successful history, building them into remarkable entities to the extent that they are now considered to be world leading in their undertakings and activities. He has been productive in helping to create first-class high-quality nuclear medicine imaging at a level that is not only of national benefit but also one that is internationally recognized.
Dr. Alnaaimi is an autonomous worker committed to providing high quality medical physics and radiation safety services by utilizing skills developed through his involvement as an expert in medical physics locally and regionally for the IAEA.
Dr. Alnaaimi has extensive experience in education and in providing training as a clinical instructor and medical physics tutor for Kuwait nuclear medicine residency program. He has been responsible for development of training materials and key coordinator of many conferences, workshops and training courses in the region.
