Chairman of Department of Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT at King Hussein Cancer Center, Jordan
Dr. Al-Ibraheem is the President of Jordanian Society of Nuclear Medicine (JOSNM), Vice-President of Asia Oceania Federation of Nuclear Medicine & Biology, and the Founding-president of Arab Society of Nuclear Medicine (ARSNM) 2014-2019.
He has published about 60 articles in international peer-reviewed journals focusing on molecular imaging, theranostic, and the role of PET/CT in cancer management.
Since 2012, Dr. Al-Ibraheem has served as an expert for the international Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He has been the course director for many regional and international workshops in Amman as joint projects between King Hussein Cancer Center and the IAEA.
He is a faculty and board examiner of the Asian nuclear medicine board and the chairperson of scientific committee of the Jordan Board of Nuclear Medicine (2022-2023). He is the director of nuclear training program at King Hussein Cancer Center which receives many fellows from the region.
Dr. Al-Ibraheem has introduced state-of-the art nuclear medicine services to KHCC and Jordan such as FAPI, DOTATOC and PSMA PET/CT imaging as well as Theranostic by peptide receptors radionuclide therapy (PRRT), PSMA-ligand radionuclide therapy (PLRT) and Alpha Therapy.
