
Dr. Hisham A Sattar (Qatar)
Dr. Hisham A Aleem A Sattar Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weil Cornell Medical College-Qatar, is a Senior Consultant and the Chief of Pulmonary Division-HMC. He is a core faculty in Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship and the Combined Allergy and Immunology Fellowship training program in Qatar. He was granted M.B.CH.B from Ain-shams University, Cairo, Egypt, and is certified by the Arab Board of Medical Specialization in Internal Medicine. He has vast experience in Pulmonary Medicine and Interventional Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, and allergic disorders for more than 20 years.
He is the founder of multiple services unique to the pulmonary Division in Qatar, including introducing updated services in Fiberoptic bronchoscopy, argon plasma coagulation, Endobronchial ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration (EBUS), Medical thoracoscopy, and Bronchial thermoplasty. He has multiple grants and publications in peer-reviewed prestigious journals.
