Joey Daniel 

Joey Daniel is a Health Management and Policy professional with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry particularly in the areas of policy management, quality management, accreditation, risk management and patient safety in addition to. Currently, he is working at Primary Health Care Corporation in Qatar under the Quality and Patient Safety Directorate where he has established and managed the policy management department over the past 11 years and managed the quality management department for 2 years. 

Before moving to Qatar, Joey had a rich array of experiences in the public health domain in Lebanon with National Disease registration (cancer and cardiovascular), National health campaigns, health promotion, community and social development, health research, and academia in addition to working in secondary care settings managing quality, risk and patient safety, and occupational health and safety departments. 

Joey holds a Master of Public Health Degree concentrating in Health Management and Policy, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion. He also holds several professional certifications in the areas of Policy Management, People-Centered Care, external surveying, quality training and facilitation, Balanced Scorecard and KPIs, Governance, risk management and compliance. Joey is passionate about health, sports and arts and injects some of those passions in every aspect of his life.
