Mr.​ Hassan Farhat

Mr. Hassan Farhat has a  Senior Health Technology degree in Emergency Medicine, MRes in Environmental Public Health, MSc in Data Analysis for Health Sciences, and a Certificate in Biostatistics Applied to Health Sciences and currently pursuing two PhDs – one in Biology focusing on Biostatistics in Medical Sciences and a PhD in Health Sciences with a focus on Disaster Management (CBRN) preparedness in the Middle East and North Africa.

He participated in many trainings with the World Health Organization, including public-health pre-deployment in 2011, qualifying him as deployable for humanitarian missions.

He worked in the Strategic Health Operations Center (SHOC Room) in the Ministry of Health in Tunisia as a Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Coordinator.

Since 2014,  he has served as a paramedic in Hamad Medical Corporation Ambulance Service, then joined the CBRN First Response team, and in 2019, the Ambulance Service Group Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management.
He published many articles on disaster management and quality improvement, peer reviewer in 3 international journals.
He received recognitions, including the 3rd poster prize at the Annual Research Day (2018), the 1st prize at the Qatar Health Conference (2021), and the 1st award at the Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Conference in Dubai (2023).
