Dr. Aisha Al Kubaisi

Dr. Aisha Al Kubaisi is a Senior Consultant/ Deputy Division Lead in the Ambulatory General Internal Medicine division, Department of Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. She joined a newly established Ambulatory General Internal Medicine service, with the goal of introducing patient/family-centered care scope of practice. She has an active clinical practice, involved in supervising and teaching medical students and residents in the RMOP.

Dr. Al Kubaisi completed her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar in 2010, and further training in Family Medicine and Community Health at University Hospitals/ Case Western Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio (in the US).  She received board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine and OH State Medical License in 2014

Dr. Al Kubaisi successfully completed extracurricular programs like HMC CIS Diploma in 2015 and graduated from Qatar Leadership Center - Rising Leaders program in 2018. In 2022 she successfully completed a master's degree in Executive Leadership from Georgetown University. She has been appointed as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at WCM-Q.

The Division of Ambulatory General Internal Medicine (AGIM), focuses on the management of secondary and tertiary-level care for patients with multiple chronic conditions. Internal Medicine Clinics-B310-HBKMC, resident outpatient clinic (HGH-Internal Medicine Residency continuity of care clinics), Virtual (Urgent) Consultation Center (UCC), and anti-coagulation clinics (HGH). The mission is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care through coordinated team work that truly reflects the needs, preferences, and goals of patients and their families in a person-centered care setting.

Building on the rich history and tradition of HMC, the AGIM Division has undergone significant change and evolution to maintain HMC's goal of being a national leader in patient care, medical education, and health services research.
