Dr. Aljmi earned her Arab board specialization in internal medicine in 2002 and went on for clinical attachment at Wayne University, Michigan / MD-Anderson Cancer Centre, Texas. She completed her post-graduate diploma and Master of Science in Infectious Diseases from University of London - London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and re-certified board in infection control 2016. She was appointed as executive director of Corporate Infection Prevention and Control Program since 2015. She has served on many committees including Prevention and Control of Infection Committee at corporate level, head of Outbreak Committee, hairman of water safety, infection control polices committees and member of the national committee of weapon prohibition. Dr. Jameela is fellow at the Institute of Health Care Improvement in Patient Safety 2013 -2014 and she is a Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certified in patient safety and quality.
She has also made great contributions to the training program of quality improvement, infection control and prevention where she was selected as Director of Infection Control course from George Washington University and Medical Training Center- HMC. She has also been a speaker in different workshops and conferences.
