Dr. Eman Elmekaty,

Dr. Eman Elmekaty is an Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacist Working in Communicable Disease Center at Hamad Medical Corporation. She Earned Her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSc Pharm) Degree from College of Pharmacy, Qatar University and her Post-Graduate Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree from the same University in 2015. She Worked as a Research Assistant under the Associate Vice President Academic Research Office in Qatar University before Working as a Hospital Clinical Pharmacist. Dr. Eman’s Passion Lies in Clinical Research, Quality Projects, and Lecturing, and she had received multiple Academic and Research Awards. She is Serving as an Officer of Pharmacy Research in her Facility and a Leader of Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Research Group, with a Primary Responsibility of Facilitating and Supporting Research Initiatives by Pharmacy Staff. She is also the Site Coordinator of Structured Practice Experience in Pharmacy and a Preceptor for Undergraduate and PharmD Students on their Internship Rotations. She has active Contributions in Classroom Teaching for Qatar University Pharmacy Students since 2017. Dr. Eman has been Involved in Many Collaborative Quality Improvement Projects that were Aiming in Improving Medication Reconciliation, Venous Thromboembolism Prophylaxis, and Pneumococcal Vaccine Administration in Hospitalized Patients.
