Professor Peter Cameron
Professor, Emergency Medicine, Monash University and Academic Director, Emergency and Trauma Centre, Alfred Hospital
Professor Peter Cameron has recently completed a term as Chair of Emergency Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Doha, Qatar, and has returned to Monash University as Professor of Emergency Medicine. He is also currently the Academic Director of the Emergency and Trauma Centre at the Alfred Hospital. He is Immediate Past President of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM), and a Past President of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM). His main research interests include trauma epidemiology, injury prevention and management, pre-hospital care and health services and systems research. He has extensive research interests in emergency and trauma medicine with many national and international grants, and over 400 Medline indexed publications.
