Dr. Shaik Farid Abdull Wahab
Emergency Consultant and Senior Lecturer, Department of Emergency Medicine, Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, Ultrasound Fellow, Massachusetts General Hospital, Department of Emergency Medicine
Dr. Abdull Wahab is an Emergency Consultant at the Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia Department of Emergency Medicine. He received his MD from the same institution and completed his Residency in Malaysia’s government hospitals.
He is currently completing his Fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital, Department of Emergency Medicine.
He is also the Phase II Chairman for the Medical School of Universiti Sains Malaysia and Coordinator for Ultrasound teaching for undergraduates in the Emergency Department. Dr. Wahab has lectured in many courses nationally and internationally and is an expert in emergency ultrasound and critical care.
He is also a Board member of WINFOCUS Malaysia (World Interactive Network of Focus Ultrasound) and a member of the WINFOCUS World. He is passionate about community work, disaster relief activities and occupational health.
