Dr. Yazan Said

After completing his basic school education at La Salle College (Les Freres) in Amman, Dr. Yazan received his medical education at University of Jordan/Amman (1985-1991). He did rotating internship at Al-Bashir Hospital in Amman and went to the USA for specialty training. He did pediatric residency at University of New York/Brooklyn, and obtained his American Board of Pediatrics in 1996, then he did subspecialty fellowship training in Allergy/Clinical Immunology (adults and pediatrics) at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and obtained his American Boards in Allergy/Immunology in 1999. He proceeded with subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology at University of California/Irvine and Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, California.

Dr Yazan established and headed the Advanced Pediatric Pulmonary Center in Spring Hill, Florida. He also worked as a pediatrician in Prince Edward Island in Canada. He currently holds the section head of Pediatric Pulmonary/Allergy section at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Dr Yazan is on the International Advisory Board of International Congress Pediatric Pulmonology (CIPP) and founding member of the Middle East Cystic Fibrosis Association (MECFA). He is also on the executive board of Saudi Pediatric Pulmonary Association (SPPA).  He is a member of multiple international specialties associations and societies.

Dr Yazan organized many regional specialized conferences and a frequent guest speaker in many local and international scientific meetings. His areas of expertise include: CF, chronic urticaria, severe asthma, immunodeficiency and immunotherapy.
