Dr. Abdullah Al-Shamrani is Consultant in Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine in the Pediatric Department at Prince Sultan Medical Military City since April 2015, He has obtained his MBBS in 1995, College of Medicine, King Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and MRCPCH (United Kingdom, 2000). He has passed the Jordanian Board in Pediatric (2000) and the Saudi Specialization in Pediatric, KSA (2000) and the Arab Board in Pediatric, Syria (2001) and the Medical Council of Canada Evaluation Exam (2001). He has undergone Fellowship Programs both in Pediatric Respiratory and Pediatric Sleep Medicine (University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada) on July 2002 to December 2004; FRCPCH of London in the United Kingdom on August 2009.
He has been involved in various organizations such as the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in the United Kingdom (fellow); American Chest and Physicians in USA (Member); American Academy of Sleep Medicine in USA (Member), Arab Pediatric Pulmonary Association (Member), Gulf Society of Pediatric Respirologist (Member), Saudi Sleep Medicine Group (Member).
Pulmonologist and Bronchoscopist,> 10 years’ at KFMC(2005-2015), instructor for the annual bronchoscopy courses in KFSH&RC, Assistant professor in pediatric, KSAU-HS, Academic and interested in teaching under and post graduate level and Members of many Association and Colleges, in charge of CME activities of the SPPA/STS.
Dr. Al-Shamrani has an interest in area of teaching and used to supervise numerous activities and presentation both KFMC and PSMMC through the college of medicine and pediatric department.
Likewise, he has attended numerous symposiums and conferences locally and internationally with special interest for the ATS, CIPP, and APPA. Cross gulf conferences.
Dr. Al-Shamrani was The Best Clinical Tutor at KFMC Children hospital (2006, 2010).
