Dr. Sara N DavisonDr. Sara N Davison is a professor, nephrologist, and bioethicist in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, Canada and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
She holds a Canada Research Chair, Tier 1, in Kidney Supportive Care. She is a health outcomes researcher and is recognized internationally as a leader in kidney supportive care and conservative kidney management.
She is the Director of the Kidney Supportive Care Research Group at the University of Alberta and Chairs the International Society of Nephrology’s (ISN’s) Kidney Supportive Care/Conservative Kidney Management Committee.
Her research focuses on the many aspects of quality kidney supportive care including pain and symptom management, prognostication, and conservative kidney management.
