Prof David Jayne
Prof David Jayne is Professor of Clinical Autoimmunity at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, and Director of the Vasculitis and Lupus Service in Cambridge. He trained at the Universities of Cambridge and London, as well as at Harvard Medical School.
Prof Jayne currently serves as President of the European Vasculitis Society. His research focuses on ANCA-associated vasculitis and lupus nephritis, and over the past 25 years he has led numerous international randomized controlled trials.
His research group conducts pioneering studies on immunosuppressive and biologic therapies. The Cambridge clinical service provides care for more than 2,000 patients with complex multisystem autoimmune diseases, with referrals from across the United Kingdom and internationally.
