Jürgen Floege
Jürgen Floege is head of the Division of Nephrology at the University of Aachen, Germany. He is the current president of the German Society of Nephrology. Together with Richard Johnson and John Feehally he is editor of the textbook “Comprehensive Clinical Nephrology”. He also is co-editor of NDT and a member of the editorial board of JASN, Kidney Int., and others. Research interests encompass basic research (growth factors and fibrosis in the course of renal disease), clinical immune-mediated renal disease and renal disease progression as well as bone and mineral disorders and cardiovascular risk factors in CKD.
