Dr. Sayed Tarique Kazi is a Senior Consultant in Critical Care Medicine in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Hamad General Hospital, HMC.
He was working as a consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia in the UK before joining the Critical Care Division at Hamad General Hospital in 2015. His professional interests include deteriorating patient pathways, resuscitation, and ICU sedation. He is the co-chair of the corporate resuscitation committee and operational lead for resuscitation services at HGH.
Dr Kazi is actively involved in teaching and is a faculty member of the Internal Medicine Residency and Critical Care Fellowship Program.
Dr. Kazi has completed his bachelor's degree from the University of Mumbai India. He went on to complete his master's in Anaesthesia and Intensive care at Grant Government Medical College in Mumbai, India. He then completed Fellowships from both the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) and the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine in the UK. He has dual certification in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine and has completed a European diploma in Intensive Care Medicine.
