I graduated from Poland in 1985 after which I went back to my native Nigeria where I undertook postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynecology. I then proceeded to the United Kingdom in 1993 where I completed postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynecology in Glasgow, West Scotland.
I took up a consultant post in obstetrics and gynecology in Doncaster England. My field of interest includes high-risk obstetrics and maternal medicine. I also have a strong interest in the management of infections in obstetrics and gynecology. In Doncaster, I held the post of labor ward lead, diabetes in pregnancy lead, and several management positions.
I moved to Qatar in 2016 from Doncaster as Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I am currently the unit sepsis lead and obstetric lead for hematological disorders in pregnancy.
