Arlien Grace Lanticse
Arlien is an Infection Control Practitioner at Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). Previously, she was a Trauma Intensive Care Nurse for 5 years and a Post-Anesthesia Care Nurse active infection link staff for 10 years in HMC. She pursued a diploma certificate in Infection Control at Nottinghill College in the United Kingdom and earned a certification from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC).
For the past five years, Arlien has been at the forefront of infection control efforts at ACC which led to significant reductions in infection rates and improved patient safety and had imparted outstanding contribution to the facility to its 1st Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation in 2019. With her dedication to infection control, she was selected by the ACC’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to receive the Al Mumayaz award in 2019. She is actively engaged in community education and outreach programs, spreading awareness about the importance of infection prevention in everyday life.
