Dr. Hassan Mitwally received his bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the College of Pharmacy Ain-shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2007, and received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University in 2016. In 2009, Dr. Mitwally joined Dar-Alfouad Hospital, Cairo, Egypt as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Critical Care unit.
Dr. Mitwally became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist in 2010. Since 2012 Dr. Mitwally moved to the state of Qatar where he worked as a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist at Al-Wakra Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation. In 2017, Dr. Mitwally became a Critical Care Board Certified.
Dr. Mitwally is an advanced clinical internship preceptor for PharmD students at Al-Wakra hospital and a PGY1 residency program preceptor (Critical Care rotation). Additionally, Dr. Mitwally participates in the training of pharmacy interns at Al-Wakra Hospital. Besides his usual daily patients care, Dr. Mitwally participated in many researches; he had several publications in a peer-reviewed journals and presented many posters at international conferences.
Dr. Mitwally did several projects to optimize the medications use in Critically Care unit. He also regularly participates in the continuing education programs in the Pharmacy and the Critical Care department, where he delivered several presentations.
