Dr. Ihab El Madhoun graduated in 1997 from Libya and completed his post- graduate training in the UK to have dual certification (CCT) in Nephrology and Internal medicine in 2008 from Yorkshire Deanery in Leeds, UK. He also had PG Diploma in health research.
In 2011, he joined HMC to commission nephrology service and help in commissioning internal medicine department in the newly established Al Wakra Hospital (AWH). Over the last few years, he has managed to lead building up a successful nephrology service in AWH delivering high quality care to HMC patients. He was the first site director for residency training program in AWH and he also initiated departmental education program within his hospital.
In December 2108, he was appointed to lead the Medicine Division in AWH.
Dr. Ihab has more than 20 years of clinical experience and he is royal college of physician (UK) examiner. He regularly present in medical meeting, locally, nationally and internationally.
