Our pharmacy team works closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each patient receives the right medication, at the right dose, and at the right time - with clear guidance for safe use.
Location of Pharmacy
We provide comprehensive Inpatient and Emergency pharmacy services, available 24/7. Our Outpatient Pharmacy, located on the ground floor, is open daily from 7 AM – 3 PM.

Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology
The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DLMP) at Al Wakra Hospital delivers state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging services, offering vital clinical support to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients of all ages. Our laboratory operates 24/7, ensuring timely and accurate test results that are essential for diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring. Our services include:

We offer outpatient services from Sunday to Thursday, 7 AM – 3 PM, across various locations, including General OPD, Obstetrics & Gynecology OPD and Al Maha Pediatric Specialized Care Center.
The DLMP is staffed by highly qualified professionals and supported by modern laboratory equipment, enabling us to uphold the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and reliability in all tests performed.

Clinical Imaging Services
Al Wakra Hospital provides advanced, state-of-the-art medical imaging across all disciplines of medicine. Our goal is to deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic imaging to support the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients of all ages. Our imaging services are delivered by qualified radiologists and technicians using the latest diagnostic technologies to ensure precision, safety, and patient comfort.
We are committed to excellence, ensuring that every imaging service contributes to safe, efficient, and person-centered care. We provide a full range of vital imaging services 24/7 throughout the week for emergency and inpatient cases. Our outpatient imaging services are available from Sunday to Thursday, 7 AM – 3 PM, for walk-ins and referrals from other HMC facilities and Primary Health Care Centers.

- Main Radiology Department is on the first floor of Al Wakra Hospital
- X-Ray Units are available in both Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments
- Obstetrics & Gynecology Ultrasound Section is located within the Obstetrics & Gynecology OPD
- Portable Imaging Units, including mobile X-Ray and Ultrasound machines, are available at Al Maha Pediatric Specialized Care Center
Dietetics & Nutrition Services
We provide high-quality, evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages. Our team of clinical dietitians works collaboratively with healthcare providers to assess nutritional needs, manage diet-related conditions, and support recovery and wellbeing through tailored dietary plans. We serve patients requiring oral supplements, enteral nutrition, and therapeutic diets, offering options that are both clinically appropriate and appealing.

- General OPD Clinic (G-OP-062) & OPD Issuance Clinic (G-OP-055) are on the ground floor, Gate 5
- Obstetrics & Gynecology Well Baby Clinic (G-OG-042) are on the ground floor within Obs/Gyn OPD
- Al Maha Pediatric Specialized Care Center’s Child Development Clinic is in Room No. 7
- Outpatient clinics at Mesaieed General Hospital
Services and Timings
- Clinical Service: Dietitians – daily at 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Dietetic Service: Dietetic Coordinators & Clerks – daily at 5 AM – 8 PM
- Formula Technicians – daily at 5 AM – 7 PM

Respiratory Therapy Services
Al Wakra Hospital provides expert, person-centered services for individuals with conditions affecting the cardiopulmonary system. Our licensed respiratory therapists offer a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic services aimed at improving breathing, lung function, and overall respiratory health. We deliver care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions through personalized treatment plans, education, and 24/7 close clinical monitoring. Our outpatient services are available from Sunday to Thursday at 7 AM – 3 PM, in coordination with medical and surgical teams.
Rehabilitation Services
Our rehabilitation services are designed to support recovery of patients, enhance their functional abilities, and improve quality of life during and after hospitalization. Our therapists collaborate closely with other departments to ensure individualized, evidence-based care plans for every patient. Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and developmental support.
Operating Hours
· Adult Outpatient Rehabilitation Services are on the ground floor, available from Sunday to Thursday, at 7 AM – 3 PM
· Evening Clinics operate from Sunday to Wednesday at 3 PM – 7 PM
· Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation Services are available from Sunday to Thursday, at 7 AM – 3 PM, delivered through the Al Maha Pediatric Specialized Care Center
