Welcome to the Security Department at the Hamad Medical Corporation. We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors and staff within and around the hospital. Our department adheres to national guidelines, and our standards of practice are consistent with Qatar civil defense regulations regarding safety at work and fire hazard precautions. We pride ourselves in working closely and collaboratively with all departments in the Heart Hospital.
We have a specialist G4S Service, which started from 22nd March 2011. This service means Group 4 Security staff are available at external areas of the hospital, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their role is to provide vehicular and traffic control assistance to sensitive areas, report and investigate security incidents and monitor the use of assigned parking areas.
The Security Department strives to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors. We aim to protect hospital properties and resources from loss, theft or damage. We endeavor to report and investigate security incidents and monitor the use of assigned parking areas. Controlling internal traffic flow through assigned entry and exits areas of the facility is a key part of our role. We also monitor and encourage wearing/displaying of employee identification badges and challenge and report any suspicious activity in and around the hospital.
