The role of our Service Center Representatives is to welcome patients and visitors to Hamad General Hospital (HGH) and ensure customers are able to easily access services and have a smooth transition to/ departure from HGH. The team is stationed at the main lobby, Outpatient and Emergency facility entrances and further key areas within the hospital.
Representatives provide information to patients and visitors, answer questions relating to hospital services and help to explain the location of hospital services. The team also provides assistance and information to customers relating to admission and/or discharge processes. Our staff effectively manages the process of comments and concerns raised by patients and/or visitors through their skill, dedication, compassion and honesty.
We also have a Complaint Resolution Officer, who is responsible for following up complaints and liaising with relevant departments and staff members to ensure complaints are quickly attended to and amicably solved. As a department our focus is on people, a resolution and not on procedures.
