The Housekeeping department is responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout all HMC facilities, from offices, patient rooms and lobbies to operating theaters. Housekeeping is offered in all HMC facilities through an outsourced vendor, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the organization. This company is closely monitored by dedicated HMC Staff to ensure all standards of cleanliness are consistently met and exceeded.
Housekeeping is a relevant service for all patients, staff and visitors as our department ensures that all HMC facilities are kept clean, are sanitized with the appropriate cleaning agents and are supplied with necessary janitorial supplies. As a department we therefore work closely with all departments throughout the hospital, from lobbies, patient rooms and clinics to operating theaters and procedure rooms, to ensure all regulations regarding hospital cleanliness are rigorously adhered to. Housekeeping is also responsible for supervising Gardening services to ensure the efficient running of this service.
