Many people experience mental health difficulties at some point in their life. The majority of people will live within their community and manage with the support of family, friends and healthcare providers. For those who need additional help and support, our Community Mental Health Service can offer support at home or close to where people live.
For those with more complex needs, we offer a range of specialist care and intervention with a view to assisting a person’s recovery and enabling them to continue to live in or reintegrate into the community.

Most people cared for by the Mental Health Service live in their own homes and are supported by community services, within their own family and social networks. For those people who cannot live in a residential setting, due to the complexity, intensity and unpredictability of their condition, our inpatient services provide specialist investigation, assessment and intervention.
