To ensure that your abstract is highly scored and selected, please make sure your submission respects the following criteria:
Fit your abstract submission under one track of the MEF conference, you can choose 1-2 secondary tracks. If your submission is selected for the MEF 2023 agenda, the scientific planning committee might find it appropriate to have your work presented under one of the secondary tracks.
Please state 2-3 learning objectives for your submission.
In 200-300 words, please add details on your abstract showing:

Evidence of Methods, Tools and Frameworks or improvement during extraordinary times, if applicable. Please mention if your method / tool / framework or initiative application is/was part of response to extraordinary times (Pandemic- World Cup preparations...etc.), whether your work is an innovation or it is a form of taking care of the day to day operations during extraordinary times?
- Whether your method / tool / framework or proposed solution or practice is evidence–based and if/where it can be replicated in other settings.
- A clear message and tangible practical takeaways that inspire and enable action. Will you share any stories and/or case examples from the field that bring method/tool/framework to life?
- Relevance and benefits to the system and to healthcare workers in general and at HMC in particular. How will participants be able to advance their professional practice as a result of this session?
- Relevance and benefits to patients and their family members.
- Evidence that the outcomes claimed are measurable and evidenced with data. Describe the outcome measures used to monitor success and sustainability of your best practice. It is preferable if the key results of improvement are well displayed with data-charts.
- Describe the methodology for monitoring sustainability and making continuous improvement.
Explain how your results or practice proposed are sustained over a period of time, preferably no less than 6 months.
If your abstract submission includes a framework or a case study with results, including them as an attachment will increase your chances of acceptance.
Data presentation is encouraged to be in a qualitative content analysis or a time -ordered data (e.g., run charts, control charts, time series analysis)
Please make sure all documents/images are high quality and easy to read, and
no more than 5 data tables, figures, KPI charts or live photos
…etc. Files containing more than 2 MB and/or more than 5 tables/figures will not be considered.
We recommend a maximum of three presenters
per session and reserve the right to limit the number of presenters based on the nature of your submission. All additional team members and sponsor information must be added. Presenter photos are welcome but not mandatory.
Please include a minimum of 3 references to support your submission.

If you are submitting your abstract for a workshop, please add 100-200 words on details of the exercise/engagement part of the workshop.

In case you are submitting an abstract for poster, please upload a PDF draft of your poster.
The final poster revised version can be uploaded at a later stage and if your poster is shortlisted.
