Dr. Wasim has been a Consultant Nephrologist for more than 12 years, currently working at King Abdulaziz Hospital, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.
He completed his Nephrology and Internal Medicine training in the UK and also a Masters of Medical Sciences (MMedSci) from Keele University, in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Fellow of American College of Physicians and has a CCST in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He has been A/Director of the Quality Management department at King Abdulaziz Hospital.
His special interests are Acute Kidney injury, Pre Dialysis care, teaching, Clinical Research, Quality improvement and patient safety.
