Back Pain: Addressing Physical Discomfort to Enhance Employee Wellbeing and Productivity
Dr Santhosh Kareepadath Rajan is an Associate Professor in the School of Psychological Sciences at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Since joining the university in 2016, he has been instrumental in advancing innovative research and education. As one of the founders and the current lead of the Behavioral Decision Lab, Dr. Santhosh continues to spearhead impactful initiatives in behavioral science. His research focuses on affective experiences, behavioral decision-making, resilience, grit and solution focused mindset. An accomplished scholar, Dr. Santhosh has authored 54 publications, secured three international research grants and completed a major research project. He holds five patents and two copyrights, underscoring his innovative contributions to the field. Currently, he leads a significant research project funded by the Cognitive Science Research Initiative (CSRI) of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), India. Dr. Santhosh is actively engaged with the global academic community as an International Affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA), a member of the Society for Judgment and Decision Making and the President of the Association of Solution-Focused Practices-India (ASFP-I). Committed to community well-being, he also volunteers with AMMAPSYDAC Society for Mental Health in Palakkad, Kerala, supporting mental health initiatives.
