Leading Well-being in the Workplace: Building Resilience and Support
Iain Tulley has been a Chief Executive in the field of Mental Health for the last 20 years, running one of the largest Mental Health organizations in the UK, before coming to Qatar in 2016 as CEO of the Mental Health Service in HMC. Qatar has seen some significant developments in Mental Health in recent years and it featured as one of seven population priorities in Qatar’s second National Health and Strategy. Iain held the position of National Lead for this priority and the focus over the last few years has been to improve access, reduce stigma and integrate physical and mental health care. During his time in post. Qatar has made significant progress in Mental Health & Addiction Treatment, in partnership working and in increasing public awareness about Mental Health & Wellbeing. Iain described the inclusion of Mental Health and Substance Use in the recently published, NHS3 as ‘very encouraging’ this will ensure that foundations that have been laid can be built upon to enhance the mental health & wellbeing of the populations across Qatar
