Safeguarding the Health and Care Workforce: Global and Regional Perspective
Dr Fethiye Gülin Gedik, is currently Coordinator, Health Workforce Development in the WHO Regional Office for Eastern Mediterranean. She is a physician with postgraduate training in public health and health economics. She has been working in the area of health policies, systems and human resources for health over 30 years, with experiences at national and international levels, including rural settings, national Ministry of Health, WHO headquarters, Regional Offices for Europe, Western Pacific and Eastern Mediterranean.
