Rob Way is a Consultant Nurse in the Emergency Departments of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Visiting Fellow at Oxford Brookes University and Lead for the Consultant Practitioner Development Programme in Emergency Care for the Thames Valley region of Health Education England. 

Rob has held a variety of clinical, academic and leadership roles within emergency/trauma care. He was the founding chairman of the Emergency Nurse Consultant Association (ENCA) in the UK (2006-2010). He developed and led a master’s degree programme for Emergency Nurse Practitioners in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2009-2010).  From 2011-2016 Rob was the chairman of the Advanced Trauma Nursing Course (ATNC) and in 2018 became the national educator with responsibility for revising the curriculum to facilitate ATNC running alongside the Advanced Trauma Life Support® (ATLS®) 10th edition course in the UK.
