Dr. Ali S. Alzahrani is a consultant endocrinologist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre and Professor of Medicine and Endocrinology at Al Faisal University in Riyadh. He is also the recipient of the International Clinician Award of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists 2016.
He was the Editor-in Chief of the Annals of Saudi Medicine. He is an Editorial Board member of the official journal of the American Thyroid Association, THYROID and an Academic Editor of the PLOS One Journal. Dr. Alzahrani has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and given more than 200 regional and international presentations. Dr. Alzahrani’s academic interests are clinical and molecular research in the areas of thyroid cancer and endocrine genetics.
