
Ms. Mary Ann Sweet Go
MAN - MS, CHSE, RN
A dynamic nurse educator who is actively involved in curriculum development and simulation-based education. She graduated magna cumlaude from Ateneo de Naga University and completed her master's degree major in medical surgical nursing at the University of Santo Tomas.
She was a critical care nurse before transitioning to academia as a university instructor for nursing students at the University of Santo Tomas. Currently, she works at the Hamad General Hospital as a nurse educator II, where she is the co-lead for facility education and covers the inpatient medical and surgical services. She is also a faculty in a number of HMC education programs, such as the preceptorship program, shared governance education program, and curriculum design module under the new educators program. She was also the former HGH shared governance facility lead for the last five years.
As an educator, she is also a certified safe manual handling instructor and a certified healthcare simulation educator (CHSE) who advocates and leverages simulation-based education to mentor healthcare professionals in fostering nurse competence, confidence, and compassion within a supportive environment that encourages ongoing professional growth and transformative learning.
