Prof. Glenis Kathleen Scadding (UK)
Dr. Glenis Kathleen Scadding, MA, MD, FRCP, is an Honorary Consultant Physician at Royal National ENT Hospital, London, and an Honorary Associate Professor in the Division of Immunity and Infection, University College London. She has the following academic positions: EUFOREA Board Member and Lead for Rhinitis.
Scientific Chief Editor for Rhinology Section, Frontiers in Allergy, Chair, Trustees of Rhinology and Laryngology Research Fund, Immediate Past President, UK Semiochemistry Network, Past President, British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology and Past Chair European Academy of Allergy & Clinical Immunology Ethics Committee.
She received multiple awards, including the BSACI William Frankland medal for outstanding services to UK Clinical Allergy, Allergy UK-Allergist of the Year- 2011, European Academy of Allergy and Immunology Clemens von Pirquet award for research, British Medical Association -Walter Jobson Horne Award, World Allergy Organization -Outstanding Clinician, BSACI 2020-Jack Pepys Lecturer.
Her research interests are rhinitis and its co-morbidities, including asthma and rhinosinusitis, aspirin hypersensitivity, and sublingual immunotherapy. Author of over 300 peer-reviewed publications (h index 76) and two novels, proceeds from which go to dementia research.
