On arrival at Hamad General Hospital visitors should go directly to the Admitting Department, which is located at the main entrance to the hospital. The Admitting Department will be able to provide guidance as to the room location of the person you are visiting.

If you know the patient’s room number please call our central number (+974) 4439 4444 and ask the operator to connect you.

It is hospital policy that medical information cannot be provided to relatives of patients over the telephone. Please note that relatives cannot obtain medical information for a patient from the treating physician unless the patient consents in writing for this information to be released to a named relative. 
 
Only the legal guardian may obtain patient health information which the physician in charge deems necessary and indicates on the approved form. Legal guardians must show official identification (ID) before records are released.

Hamad General Hospital has free Wi-Fi access throughout the hospital for the use of patients and visitors who are able to access their email through their laptop, tablet or other Wi-Fi enabled device. ​
