World AIDS Day - 1 December 2021
The communicable Disease Center marked World AIDS Day on 1 December 2021, with the World Health Organization (WHO) calling on leaders and citizens to encourage AIDS testing, treatment, and confidentiality of the service. The theme undertaken was "Shared responsibility" and "Together we can make a difference." The celebration targeted healthcare workers and the public to encourage awareness, prevention, testing, treatment, and education.
This campaign included educational messages and digital displays on social media and public locations like Qatar's malls and shopping centers.
