The Communicable Disease Center (CDC) is specialized tertiary facility comprising 65 single-occupancy inpatient rooms, along with outpatient and community-based services. It provides comprehensive care for patients with broad range of communicable diseases requiring hospitalization, including patients with tuberculosis. In addition, the CDC operates several outpatient clinics, including immunization, HIV, tuberculosis, and transplant infectious disease clinics. The CDC is also home to Qatar’s first dedicated and comprehensive Travel Clinic.
