Our team consists of radiologists with reputed international qualifications, highly skilled technologists, nurses and support staff providing compassionate and caring services to the patients and their families.

Education and Training:

Our radiologists actively participate in radiology educational sessions to prepare radiology residents for their final examinations. Likewise, our team conducts teaching sessions for medicine residents, and medical students from Qatar University. We also conduct teaching and practical sessions for University of Science and Technology Doha students who come to our department on rotational basis. Our faculty participates regularly in various educational and continuous professional development activities. We hold regular interdepartmental sessions, as well as technical and nursing staff lectures – which help to deliver the best of patient care. We have regular QCHP approved academic presentations by our staff.

Equipment and services:

Emergency Radiology, Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, Obstetrics and Gynecological Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Non-vascular Interventional Radiology, and Pediatric Radiology. Imaging modalities available include General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, CT scan, Ultrasonography, Color Doppler, and MRI.

New State-of-the-Art Machines:

The upgraded new equipment along with innovative restructuring of imaging suites having good ambience helps in providing excellent patient care and reduce the number of patient referrals to tertiary care facilities.

• Our high-end CT machine, 640 slice CT scan with faster imaging capabilities, better resolution to see finer details, and excellent image quality excelling the standards. It has all the latest application packages that help in the examination of beating heart in a single heartbeat. It also includes applications for Dental CT and brain perfusion studies. It comes with advanced CT reconstruction technology making use of artificial intelligence.
• 3-Tesla MRI scanner with its BioMatrix Technology- embraces patient variability by size, height and adapts to the unique set of challenges that each patient brings to the MRI exam leading to consistent, high-quality personalized exams for high-end clinical routine as well as clinical research.
• Latest digital X-ray is one of the high-end digital X-ray machines which offers unique automation such as direct system auto positioning. With its automation capability and high level of standardization, it helps speed up examinations/workflow in the emergency department and at the same time it increases the precision and safety. It is suitable for doing all general radiographic examinations and imaging of orthopedics cases (long bone study such as whole spine study, lower and upper extremities study etc.).
• New state-of-the-art Canon Fluoro Ultimax machine has more functional capabilities to provide in-patients and outpatients with any kind of diagnostic examination, fluoroscopic/special procedures, and routine examinations. It allows fluoroscopy guided procedures with 90 degree rotation.
• Our department is also equipped with another high definition mobile digital x ray Siemens C-arm machine, Cios Alpha which is used in OT/ICU, capable of imaging urological cases, orthopedic cases, general surgery cases, & vascular/interventional procedures. With its WIFI capability, it can transfer images to PACS from anywhere in the hospital.
