Mr. Villar graduated in 2007 from the Manila Doctors College in the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in the Science in Nursing. He worked as an Emergency unit nurse in the Philippines until he joined Hamad Medical Corporation in 2012. He began his journey as a staff nurse in Rumailah hospital. Equipped with hopes and motivation, he represented the hospital as one of the two speakers in the first nursing grand rounds of HMC in 2014. Mr. Villar juggled his time with work and graduate study. He obtained a Master of Arts in Nursing from The Philippine Women’s University upon completion of his thesis on the topic: Experiences of Nurses in the Pre-Operative Care of ENT Patients in A Multicultural Environment in Doha, Qatar in 2017. In the same year he decided to enhance his nursing practice as a Trauma Nurse. He now serves as one of the nursing staff in Trauma Resuscitation Room of Hamad General Hospital.
