Murat is the Chief Operating, Quality, and Safety Officer at Anadolu Medical Center (AMC) and has healthcare experience spanning more than 15 years. Since 1998, he has been working for Anadolu Group, which is one of the biggest conglomerates in Turkey. In his career, he worked in various functions such as healthcare operations, quality and patient safety, occupational health and safety, performance improvement, strategic planning, human resources, and information technologies.
He received his diplomas (B.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering and (M.Sc.) in Engineering Management in 1998 and 2003, respectively, from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey.
His main responsibilities include quality and patient safety, facilities and outsourced services, and occupational health and safety. He is leading all external accreditations, including the Joint Commission International survey and Planetree Person-Centered Care Gold Certification.
He holds a Patient Safety Practitioner Certificate from Johns Hopkins Medicine and an Occupational Health and Safety Expert Certificate from the Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
