Dr. Yousuf Al Maslamani
Dr. Yousef Al Maslamani is the Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital (HGH). He has been a Senior Consultant in General Surgery and Kidney Transplantation since 2001. He received his MBBS in 1988 and his fellowship in 1993 from the Royal Colleague of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland. In 1994 he became a member of the Arab Board of Surgical Specialties.
Dr. Al Maslamani carried out his fellowship in Kidney Transplantation at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2001. In addition, Dr. Al Maslamani is the Head of the Kidney Transplantation section under the Dept. of Surgery, and the Chairman of the Organ Transplant Committee. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee for the 8th Surgical Research and Innovation Ideas Ibn Ishaq Symposium 2018, and one of the Chairpersons of the Gulf Cooperation council (GCC) Organ Transplantation Congress & the Qatar National Health Insurance Working Group. He is also a member of the Joint Oversight Board at the University of Calgary in Qatar and a member of the International Nursing Advisory Board. In addition to his role as Medical Director at HGH, Dr. Al Maslamani is also currently serving as Director of QCOT - Hamad General Hospital- HMC.
