Dr. Foad Nahai 

Foad Nahai, M.D., F.A.C.S., Maurice J. Jurkiewicz Chair in Plastic Surgery and Professor of Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine, has taught for over forty years. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery where he served as a Director of the Board for six years. 

Not only Dr. Nahai’s patients, but also his peers, benefit from his incomparable wealth of experience. His contributions to the field of plastic surgery make him a highly-sought after presenter, both domestically and internationally. He has developed and implemented many procedures, some of which he has been invited to demonstrate live. 

Dr. Nahai is recognized worldwide as an innovator and leader, and featured at dozens of symposia, national and international meetings. In recognition of his many contributions to the field of plastic surgery, he has been named an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand and as an honorary member of numerous plastic surgery organizations on all continents. Dr. Nahai is an acknowledged leader in aesthetic plastic surgery and has developed and refined various aesthetic and cosmetic procedures. 

Dr. Nahai’s professional memberships encompass numerous international, national, and local plastic surgery organizations. He is President of the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Centers; has served as President of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (2008-2010) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (2007-2008); and was Director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (2001-2007). 

Dr. Nahai’s clinical interests include aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breasts, and body, and minimally invasive endoscopic plastic surgery.
