Nemanja Damjanov, MD, PhD



Dr Nemanja Damjanov is full Professor of Rheumatology with the University of Belgrade Medical School and Director of the Institute of Rheumatology, Belgrade, Serbia. Prof. Damjanov was General Secretary of EULAR. Now, he is Chair of EULAR Standing Committee on Education and Training (ESCET).

Prof. Damjanov's scientific activities have been dedicated to Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSUS) in Rheumatology. He was a lecturer and instructor at four EULAR Courses, three TTT EULAR Courses and at 24 EULAR Scientifically Endorsed regional MSUS Courses in Europe and Asia. He was Executive Director of 10 EULAR Scientifically Endorsed regional MSUS Courses.  

His research interests include Scleroderma, Capillaroscopy, Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and Sonography in Rheumatology. Prof. Damjanov published more than 420 papers in reputed journals. He is serving as the Editor in chief of “Acta Rheumatologica Belgradensia”, was Associate Editor of “Rheumatology (Oxford)”.and is Editorial board member of “Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases”.
