Zunaid Karim, MD
 
Dr. Zunaid Karim is a consultant rheumatologist at Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He graduated from the University College Dublin in 1993 and moved to Leeds in 1998 as a research fellow before completing his specialist training. His MD thesis is on the role of Ultrasonography in rheumatology practice.
 
He is the Treasurer of the British Society of Rheumatology (BSR), ex-convener of the BSR Specialist Interest Group in Ultrasound, and a member of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) Standing Committee of Musculoskeletal Imaging.
 
Dr. Karim is a European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology level-3, accredited sonographer and a regular tutor on EULAR and BSR accredited ultrasound courses.
 
He is married with 4 children and lives in Leeds, United Kingdom.
