Ms. Nour Alhussaini
Ms. Nour Alhussaini is a Junior Epidemiologist at the Communicable Disease Center (CDC), where she contributes to research and surveillance activities that strengthen Qatar’s capacity for disease prevention and control. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from Qatar University, through which she built a strong foundation in academic research and epidemiological practice. Nour previously worked at Qatar University for two years as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Public Health, collaborating with faculty members on various research projects. Her experience spans data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation of epidemiological data, contributing to evidence-based public health research. She has also worked with the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute (SESRI) and the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) under Qatar Foundation, engaging in research projects addressing key public health issues in Qatar and the region. Through these experiences, she has contributed to multiple studies resulting in 13 research publications. Nour’s professional strengths include research design, data management, statistical analysis, and scientific writing. Her background reflects a strong blend of academic rigor, analytical proficiency, and collaborative research experience — all of which continue to shape her expertise in the field of epidemiology.
