Welcome Message
On behalf of the Qatar International Infectious Diseases Conference (QIIDC) Organizing and Scientific Committee, and the Qatar Infectious Diseases Association (QIDA), it is with immense pleasure that I welcome you to the 3rd edition of QIIDC.
As we remain committed to creating spaces where science and research meet clinical practice, and collaboration drives meaningful change, we convene once again in the state of Qatar with an updated sense of purpose and progress.
This year, we have built a program that reflects the realities of today and the possibilities of tomorrow in infectious diseases. Allow me to highlight just a few of the impactful sessions awaiting you:
- Global Disruptors in Infectious Diseases
- Precision Diagnostics and Therapeutics
- Infectious Diseases in the AI and Data Age
- Antimicrobial Stewardship and Resource Optimization
- ID Grand Rounds and Case-Based Debates, and last but not least
- Focused updates in Clinical Microbiology, Transplant ID, and Infections in Immunocompromised Hosts
This conference is not just a forum to present the latest data; it is a call to action. A call to continuously improve how we practice, collaborate, and prepare for the future of infectious diseases in a rapidly changing world.
I am immensely proud of how far we have come as a specialty, and of the resilience, adaptability, and excellence shown by ID professionals across the region, especially through the challenges of recent years. As we gather here in Doha, we celebrate not only our progress but our shared commitment to do more, together.
I encourage each of you to fully engage in the sessions, network with your peers, share your knowledge, and enjoy our hospitality here in Qatar. Your presence is what makes QIIDC the impactful platform it continues to be.
Warmest regards,

H.E. Dr. Muna Al Maslamani,

Chair of Scientific & Organizing Committee
