Dr. Sabri Boughorbel
Dr. Boughorbel is a machine learning scientist in QCRI/HBKU. He has a broad expertise in applying artificial intelligence to healthcare. Currently, he is leading projects on large language models in medicine and computational pathology. Previously, he worked in Sidra Research as Staff scientist and led the Machine Learning for Health group. He was awarded several research grants on developing artificial intelligence models for clinical applications related to electronic health records. Before joining Sidra, he worked as senior scientist in Philips Research Labs in the Netherlands. Dr. Boughorbel earned his PhD from Paris-Saclay University.
