Ms. Michelle Machon, RN, MSN

Ms. Michelle Machon is Director, Clinical and Nursing Informatics for Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. She trained as a Registered Nurse in Ireland and has worked in Australia, Kuwait, Ireland, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Before moving to Abu Dhabi, she worked for ten years in Northern California at a large health system that implemented a fully integrated electronic medical record system in 19 facilities.
Ms. Machon’s clinical experience is in critical care and neurosurgical ICU. She holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Queensland and is currently completing her PhD program; her research focus is on ‘The Hospital Orientation Needs of Internationally Educated Nurses’.
