Dr. Sara Adel Salim completed her MBChB from Al Mustanseryia University College of Medicine, followed by two years rotating internship is the Medical City teaching hospital in Baghdad Iraq. She completed her four-year residency program and received her Fellow of Iraqi Commission for Medical Specialization in Hematology.
She has been working as the Pathologist in charge of Al Khor Hematology and Transfusion Medicine since 2004 and later as the Head of Al Khor laboratory in 2019 in addition she is currently the A/Head of the Transfusion Medicine division/Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. She is a member of several Corporate, Hospital and departmental committees.
